You, as a parent – say the letters loud the first times you watch the movie ABC – Letters Hunting in the Troll Forest.
You can also mention something that makes it easier for the child to remember, such as ”X – that is your letter,” or ”G as in grand mother” or ”D as in dog”.
Hunts like letters hunting or reflectives hunting are examples of fun outdoor activities for kids – maybe you wanna try it? If you dont wanna do the whole alphabet, limit it to the letters in your childs name.
You can do a letter hunt in the forest or in the yard and if you wanna do it in the evening, hang reflectors on the letters and search with flashlights.
